Stis Marios

302 Akti Themistokleous, Piraiki, Piraeus, T. 210 4515345

Here the freshness of the fish blends perfectly with the creativity of the young group of people who prepare them, led by 23 year old Mario! The homonymous tavern opened just 9 months ago in Akti Themistokleous (Themistokles coast) with a décor reminiscent of the small taverns in Greek islands. The intense shades of blue are in perfect harmony with the specialties landing on the tables and aspire to take our sea culinary tradition one step further. Highlight of the menu are the large well-grilled fishes (sea bream, sea bass and croaker) which arrive at our table in a spectacular way, inside a large pan sliced open in a way that reminds us of a butterfly, thus exciting our taste buds. Of course all this would not have the same meaning without the equally well-structured list of spirits, including wines such as bulk Moshofilero with Roditis, but also a great variety of ouzo and tsipouro from every corner of Greece! Open daily except Mondays 13:00-01:00.

Don’t miss

A table upstairs to enjoy fish and seafood overlooking the sea!

With the sea of Peiraiki peninsula at your feet and the Aegean setting, To Thalassaki

from the first moment gives out an island atmosphere. The pleasant environment with the checkered tablecloths, the photos and objects reminiscent of summers on the Greek islands, increase our appetite to taste fresh fish, seafood and unusual specialties and delicacies. The grilled fish prepared with unique craftsmanship, the seafood pasta and risotto (with black ink from seafood and baby fish or with crayfish or shrimps), are especially preferred by the customers. On top of this there is, of course, a wide range of ouzo and tsipouro from all over Greece as well as fine bulk wine from Nemea. Daily 11:00- 00:00 (kitchen hours).

The only restaurant which, 14 years ago, dared to break free from the established perception that tables next to the sea should only serve seafood, Vosporos Grill Restaurant makes its own history as a pure meat grill house. The owners Giorgos Rogdionakis and Petros Georgopoulos were the first to give elegant dimension to meat. In a classy space of high aesthetics on the street and next to the coast, set against apost card view of fishing boats and sailing boats in Mikrolimano, seated at its friendly sitting corners, we enjoy the prolific appetizers, meze and meat dishes which are cooked with the proper grilling methods, the best ingredients and the principles of tradition originating from Istanbul.
