Housed in one of the most beautiful neoclassic buildings of Athens. At the foothills of Lycabettus hill, in Kolonaki, is one of the top choices of the artistic crowd and one of the best gastronomic recommendations in town! The ltra chic halls, the antique furnishings, the wooden staircase leading to the bar, the mystique corners and the wonderful patio make up a splendid space. Its Greek creative cuisine follows the same high standards, with a partiality towards Greek ingredients from micro producers, and it even boasts a freshly renewed menu with suggestions that bring a strong spring flavor. The wine list surprises us with the 120 (!) well-thought suggestions of selected Greek and international labels. Daily 19:00-02:00 (kitchen open till 00:30).

DECORATION
Stylish and with a "viewpoint" as if it has emerged from the pages of a design magazine.... Old used parts, such as wheels, pedals, handlebars and saddles have been transformed into inspired lamps, stools, handles and decorative elements.

Even those who have no relation with... the sport, come here from early in the morning to enjoy a fine Taf varietal coffee, homemade lemonade, unique beverages as well as its comfort menu (the pizza with handmade crust, the quinoa salad and the truffle burger are considered a must), while in the evening it turns into a bar.

Reference point of the all-day fun section of the town for the past 4 years. Especially this year, when the refreshing breeze of renovation has blown under the roof of its neoclassical building dating back to 1875 in the walkway of Aggelou Metaxa Street (in walking distance from the Piraeus Marina). Its motto “The Essence Bar Restaurant” reveals a lot but only upon entering in its premises we realize the high end dimension it promises to give our moments. The retro-maximalist design (by Alex Petrakis and Vivian Dimitrakopoulou under the directions of interior designer Kosmas Karavas) takes us on a journey through the Parisian bistro and the Berlin cabarets of the interwar period. Marble columns, antiques, golden details, dark green walls, hidden separated sections on the 2nd floor surrounded by heavy frames depicting important personalities, compose a mystique setting which further upgrades its promising delicacies... A characteristic example, apart from the breakfasts and the special beverages, is its updated menu of creative Mediterranean-Greek cuisine by chef Christos Tzieras. In the evenings, we return here to rush for a seat around the 2 emblematic bars with their large collection of premium drinks, wines and cocktails, relaxing under the sounds of atmospheric music. Daily 09:00-03:00 (the kitchen 12:00-00:30).
